5) Wiring the Drive

This next section covers some of the wiring of the drive. The first area to be covered

is general wiring practices. The next part covers the power or line wiring from

incoming power to the drive. The motor wiring covers the connections between the

drive and the motor. After this external 24Vdc wiring is covered followed by

Dynamic Brake wiring and load sharing. Some general concerns are mentioned for

the control wiring. Specific Control wiring for Digital Inputs/Outputs and Analog

Input/Outputs and Relays are covered when the drives and their application are

covered in a following training module.
