Scanning messages
Pressing ? provides you with the fol-
lowing information regarding the
selected message:
■ Date and time when the message
occurred for the first time.
■ Notes about the characteristics of
the heat pump and heating system.
■ Tips on which steps you can take
yourself before notifying your heat-
ing contractor.
3. Make a note of the message text and
the message code adjacent to it. In
this example: "Outside temp. sensor
18" and "Power-OFF C5" (see
page 53).
This enables the heating contractor to
be better prepared and may save
unnecessary travelling costs.
4. If you want to acknowledge all mes-
sages, follow the instructions in the
menu. If you do not want to acknowl-
edge the messages, press ä.
The entry "Note", "Warning" or
"Fault" will be accepted into the
standard menu as well as into the
"Extended menu" as the first entry.

Note "Power-OFF C5"
This is not a fault (see page 53).
(cont.)
■ If you have connected up signalling
equipment (e.g. a buzzer) for fault
messages, this is deactivated when
the fault message is acknowledged.
■ If the fault can only be rectified at a
later date, the fault message is dis-
played again the next day and the sig-
nalling equipment (if installed) is
switched on again.
■ If you acknowledge fault message
"Heat pump A9", both central heating
and DHW heating will be provided by
the instantaneous heating water
heater (if installed) alone. As this is
associated with high electricity costs,
we recommend having the heat pump
checked by your local heating contrac-
tor immediately.
Calling up acknowledged messages
1. Call up the standard menu or the
"Extended menu".
2. Select "Note", "Warning" or
"Fault".
