Use the procedure in this section to set the following system information:

System time and date

System name

System location
•

To set the system information:

Ensure that you are in Enable mode by entering the enable command in the CLI.

Use the following commands to set the system time and date and then verify the setting
set date year

Here is an example:
ssr# system set date year 1998 month january day 19 hour 11 minute 54 second 0
Time changed to: Mon Jan 19 11:54:00 1998
ssr# system show date
