REPLACING THE CUTTER MOTOR:

1. Switch the POWER to the Edger to the "OFF" position.
2. Remove the cutter assembly from the motor.
3. Unplug the motor from the controller by rotating the connector.
4. Remove the four bolts holding the cutter motor to the cutter motor cradle.
5. Slide the motor out of the rear of the cradle.
6.
Re-install in reverse order.
7. Follow steps under "Removing/Installing the Cutter Body" on
assembly.

REPLACING THE CONTROL PANEL:

1. Switch the power on the Edger to the "OFF" position.
2. Disconnect the POWER from the wall outlet.
3. Disconnect the air supply from the right side of the Edger.
4. Note the airline connections on the regulator assembly and disconnect the airlines
from the regulator.
5. Disconnect the power switch at its three conductor amp-type connector.
6. Disconnect the Control Panel from the main wiring harness at it's 15 conductor amp-
type connector.
7. Remove the eight button head screws and nuts securing the panel to the front of the
machine and lift the panel out.
8. Insert the new Control Panel into the front of the machine and secure it with the eight
screws and nuts.
9. Reconnect the airlines to the regulator as noted in Step 3.
10. Connect the Control Panel to the main wiring harness at its 15 conductor amp-type
connector.
11. Connect the power switch to the power supply at its 3 conductor amp-type connector.
12. Reconnect the air supply to the right side of the Edger.
