2. Carefully push the cutter body onto the motor shaft as far as possible.
3. Tighten the set screws with the hex key wrenches.
4. Lower the cutter shield, reposition the bevel guide wheel, and turn the motor controller
toggle switch back to the ON position.
5. Move the bevel guide wheel assembly back to its proper position.
6. Lower the top case, secure, and turn the control panel power switch to the ON position.
Replacing the Cutter Insert:
1. Using the "TORX" wrench provided in the accessory kit, loosen the screw that
secures the retaining clamp. Note: A common mistake is to use an Allen wrench
to remove the TORX screws. This will strip the screw, making the insert nearly
impossible to remove.
2. Slip the insert out of the body.
3. Thoroughly clean the cutter body and the clamp in a solvent (acetone or alcohol)
and blow it dry with the air gun supplied in the accessory kit.
4. Replace the insert by pushing it as far as possible to the back of the cutter body.
This will ensure the alignment of the insert.
5. Alternate the tightening of each screw 2-3 times, until the clamp is evenly seated
and tightened securely.
6. Verify size.
