FLOW CONTROLLED CYCLE WILL NOT OPERATE:
The Lens Drive Carriage flows forward at a steady rate even though the
Flow Rate has been activated.
A. Lens Drive Flow Rate too fast. If the forward flow rate of the Lens is too
fast, the flow rate may not have time to activate. Follow the procedures on
Page 31 for verifying the Lens Drive Carriage Flow Rate.
B. Air Leak. Check the fittings and air connections on the Lens Drive Flow
cylinder and the solenoid for leaks.
C. Solenoid Valve Malfunction. Follow the procedures on Page 47 for
troubleshooting the Flow Rate Solenoid.

LENS DRIVE ASSEMBLY:

LENS DRIVE MOTOR CONTINUES TO RUN [At end of Cycle]:
A. Broken Wire. Use a multimeter and check the wires leading from the
switch's amp-type connector to the control panel, if a break is indicated, it
must be located and repaired.
B. Proximity Switch Malfunction. Place a jumper wire from the Black wire to
the Blue wire at the switch's amp-type connector, if the motor ceases to run,
the switch will need to be replaced.
C. Control Panel Malfunction. Disconnect the control panel from the wiring
harness at its 15-conductor connector, if the motor ceases to run, replacement
of the control panel is indicated.
D. Faulty Mercury Relay. If the motor continues to run with the control panel
unplugged, a malfunction of the mercury relay is indicated and the relay
should be replaced.

LENS DRIVE MOTOR DOESN'T RUN:

A. Lens Drive Circuit Breaker Tripped. The Lens Drive circuit breaker is
located on the Lens Clamp Cylinder mounting assembly. If the White button
has popped up, reset by pressing the button down so that it is flush with the
housing.
B. Diode Pack is Bad.
1. Connect a voltmeter to the brake side of the diode pack.
2. Ensure the meter is set to the AC voltage scale. Close the case top and
cycle the edger.
