10.1.1 Throttle Trigger / Lockout
Lever
– To install the lockout lever, pull
out the handlebar, b 10.1
: Take out the screws (arrows) and
remove the handle molding (1).

: Remove the torsion spring (1)
from the guide (2) and pull it out
from under the throttle cable (3).

: Remove the throttle trigger (1).

: Turn the throttle trigger (1) 90°
clockwise until the hook (2) on
the throttle cable locates against
the face (arrow).

: Disconnect the throttle cable (1)
from the trigger (2).

: Carefully remove the lockout
lever (1) – tension of torsion
spring is suddenly relieved.

: Remove the torsion spring (1)
– the side control may pop out.
Installing

: Fit the torsion spring (1) on the
pivot pin (2) so that its lower, bent
leg butts against the web (arrow)
on the left.
: Push the upper leg (arrow) of the
torsion spring towards the
handlebar and hold it there.
