4. Front brake lever
It controls a hydraulic circuit (ABS) that operates
the front brake system. The front brake is applied by
pressing the front brake lever gently towards the grip.
The brake lamp glows on application of front brake.
5. Engine cut off switch
It is used to switch off the engine but to keep other
DC system active. If the switch is positioned at '
',
the ignition circuit will be disabled, preventing the
engine from being restarted.
To restart the engine, return the switch to the '
'
position.
6. Mode switch
Press the mode switch to switch between 'Urban',
'Rain' and 'Sport' modes (refer page no. 42 for
further details).
Note
When the ignition switch is turned 'ON' with the engine
kill switch 'ON' condition, priming noise of fuel pump
may be heard which is absolutely normal.
Frequent switch 'OFF' & 'ON' of ignition to be avoided to
prevent unnecessary run of fuel pump.
