8 Creation of the PDM Network Structure for the Maintenance Project

Project with HART Server [Cx]

1. Open the Process Device Network View.
2. Select the menu command Insert > SIMATIC PDM > Networks.
3. Right-click the new "Networks" node in the Process Device Network View and
select "Insert new object > Communication network" from the context menu.
4. Click "Assign device type..." and select the "HART Server" device type.

5. After confirming with "OK" twice, the HART Server network is inserted:
