7. Select the "PDM Application" in the hardware catalog under "SIMATIC PC
Station > PDM" and add the "PDM Application" to the configuration table using
drag & drop.

8. Select the menu command Station > Save and Compile, then Station > Close.
9. Right-click the "WinLC RTX" station and choose "Insert new object > Plan
folder".

Project with PROFINET or PROFIBUS [Ax, Bx]

1. Open the Process Device Network View.
2. Select the menu command Insert > SIMATIC PDM > Networks.
3. Right-click the "Networks" node in the Process Device Network View and
select "Insert new object > Communication network" from the context menu.
4. Click "Assign device type" and select "Networks > PROFINET > PROFINET
Networks > PROFINET Network".
By creating the network, a PC station is also created in the project:

5. Click the PDM-MS icon, then right-click the Ethernet interface and select
"Object Properties".
