NOTE When installing the frontload ATM device, always contact your insurance company before- hand. In case of doubt, contact your Diebold Nixdorf consultant for advice. NOTE Observe the necessary operation and maintenance space for the various types of installa- tion (see section "Space required for operation and maintenance").
3.11.1 3.11.1 General information A DN Series 100D FL can be installed without an installation frame. The device is secured to the floor by the corresponding attachment points (see section "Section 3.13"). The safe is screwed with the floor. The attachment of the safe depends on the safe construction type (UL 291, CEN-I).
3.13 Drilling diagrams The following figures specify the distance from the edge of the device of the drill holes that are used to secure the DN Series 100D FL and the tear-off sensor. NOTE When aligning the system, please note that the safe is 70 mm shorter than the system.

NOTE Remove the AFD 2.0 before removing the wooden shipping pallet (refer to section "AFD from bottom rails of safe" in the DN Series 100D FL Service Manual). Proceed as follows to disassemble the wooden shipping pallet: Illustration 4-2: Shipping pallet - Removing screws Remove the 4 screws of the shipping pallet from the inside of the safe.
Carefully lift the system from the side with the help of the lift truck (1). Remove the wooden pallet from the DN Series 100D FL (2). Dispose of the wooden pallet that is no longer needed in accordance with the regulations in your country.
NOTE Remove the AFD 2.0 before removing the metal shipping bracket (refer to section "AFD from bottom rails of safe" in te DN Series 100D FL Service Manual). Proceed as follows to disassemble the metal shipping bracket: Illustration 4-5: Shipping bracket – Removing screws Remove the 4 screws of the shipping bracket from below.
Carefully lift the system from the side with the help of the lift truck (1). Remove the metal bracket from the DN Series 100D FL (2). Dispose of the metal bracket that is no longer needed in accordance with the regulations in your country.
