7�3�3 Insert maintenance
Perform at least once a year or whenever the insert
signals the need for maintenance.
When performing maintenance activities, the technician
should:
A) Open the door (1), remove the top panel (2), unfasten
and remove both stoppers (3) (fig. 7.14)
B) Remove the interior plates from the combustion
chamber and vacuum the remaining ash (fig. 7.15)
C) Remove the insert's top stoppers and vacuum the
remaining ash (fig. 7.16)
D) Remove the side, flame-resistant grips of the interior
plates (fig. 7.17)
E) Remove the stoppers of the smoke collector
(fig. 7.18)
F) Vacuum the remaining ash (fig. 7.19)
G) Reinstall all elements in reverse sequence
H) Check the condition of all gaskets
I)
Check the condition and cleanliness of all interior
elements
J) Check the tightness and cleanliness of the connector
for leading off smoke
K) Remove all pellet residue in the container
L) Check that the insert is working properly
M) Reset potential warnings or alarms (thermostats for
manual reset are found on the rear of the insert, near
the power cable socket).
N) Check whether the spring blocking the door is
working properly, as shown in fig. 7.20.
