621 Positioning the room temperature sensor
The sensor should be installed near the side or front inlets
for convection air at the base of the fireplace's housing.
Stick the sensor's grip on the air inlets (fig. 6.2.2).
63 CONNECTION OF HOT AIR
DISTRIBUTION
Only for version with air distribution
631 Connection of distribution for heating of
individual rooms
Take the ends of the flexible hose and stretch it in a
rotating motion (fig. 6.3.1).
Cut the hose to the desired length (no longer than 200
cm), then install the outlets at the desired places.
Fasten the flexible pipe (1) on rings (3) by means of
clamping bands (1) (fig. 6.3.2).
Distribution pipes should insulated with insulating
material.
Outlet grates must be installed at a height of 18-20 m
above the floor, so that heated air is not directed at people
It is not recommended to build channels longer than
7÷8 m.
632 Connection of distribution for heating of
multiple rooms
For heating of multiple rooms, it is possible to make metal
ducts for air distribution, according to the diagram below:
• flexible aluminium pipe - maximum length of each pipe
7÷8 m;
• smooth metal pipe or conduit - length up to 12 m for
single channel; 8÷9 m for dual channel.
Install one grate in the same room where the insert is
found and the other in the other room.
It is possible to distribute warm air through a flexible pipe
to the outlets of distribution pipes.
Air distribution ducts should have an interior cross-
section of 20x20 cm and should be made of smooth,
galvinised sheet and insulated with insulating material 30
mm thick, in order to prevent noise and heat dissipation.
(fig. 6.3.3: A-dual channel), (fig. 6.3.4: B-single channel).
When the chimney is used to heat 2 or more adjacent
rooms, it is necessary to support recirculation of the
surrounding air in order to equalise temperatures in
different rooms; this is why it is necessary to install thru
grates on doors or leave doors ajar
