6�5 MAKING TECHNICAL HOLES IN THE
LINING
The fireplace housing should be made solely by qualified
personnel.
Make technical holes in the fireplace housing for:
A) placement of the control keyboard;
B) warm air outlets;
C) decompression grate;
D) ventilation of the housing at the base;
E) pellet loading door;
Holes must be compliant with the dimensions given in
fig. 6.5.1.
6�6 CONNECTIONS
6�6�1 Electrical connection
It is enough to connect the insert to power supply by
means of the attached plug.
The electrical connection (plug) must be easily accessible
even after installation of the insert�
If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by a
technical service or qualified technician, in order to avoid
any risk of electrical shock�
6�6�2 Earthing

The electrical circuit must strictly be equipped with
earthing and a residual current device according to binding
legal regulations (fig� 6�6�1)�
The smoke pipe must be connected to earthing�
Installation of control keyboard
The control keyboard may be placed on the wall
(fig. 6.6.2).

Do not mount the electrical wiring box on the housing�
The cable between the control keyboard and the plug must
run so that it is not damaged by temperature during the
insert's operation�
Before closing boxes, connect the cable between the
terminals of the electronic card and the control panel.
6�6�3 Connection to room thermostat
It is possible to connect an external chronothermostat,
which extinguishes and ignites the insert depending on
the programmed temperature.
