Power Modules

Begin each session with two fully charged power modules to ensure uninterrupted operation. Promptly transfer
discharged power modules to the charging station for replacement with a fully charged unit.
Warning: Fully charge each new power module before first use. This is required to ensure accurate
charge level reporting.

Preparing a Power Module for First Use

The power module must be prepared before being placed on a ZeroWire stand.
1. Place the power module on a 4-dock ZeroWire Mobile Charging Station until the blue LED light turns on and
all LED bars are indicating fully charged.
2. Remove the First Use Instructions label after charging the power module.

Power Module Overview

The power module display has a power switch, overload
indicator, service indicator, and charge level LEDs.
Power Module Power On
Note: Although a ZeroWire Mobile can operate with one
power module, to obtain optimum performance two
modules should always be installed.
Note: For best performance, always install a fully charged
power module
To power on a ZeroWire Mobile with two power modules
installed, press the power switch on one power module for
approximately 3 seconds. The power switch will illuminate
with a single beep and the charge level LEDs will illuminate
successively from the bottom up and then all blink off and
on in unison, followed by three beeps signaling that the
power module authentication code has been confirmed for
use. The power switch and charge level LEDs of the active
power module are illuminated. The reserve power module
displays only illuminated charge level LEDs.
Power Module Power Off
Press the power switch on the active power module for approximately 3 seconds. The power switch LED will go
dark with two beeps, followed by the charge level LEDs turning off sequentially from the top down.
Low Charge Level Audible Notification
A beep is repeated at 2-minute intervals starting 30 minutes prior to full discharge of a secondary power module
if the depleted primary power module has not been replaced with a charged unit.
Note: The Low Charge Level Notification is functionally critical and cannot be disabled.
