Equipment

In case of an emergency, it may be
necessary to quickly evacuate the bus.
Turn off the ignition and the main switch
before leaving the bus.
All emergency equipment should be
checked at regular intervals to make
sure that it is in place and in working
condition. The location of the safety
equipment may vary, depending on
national regulations. Drivers should know
where the equipment is located and
ensure nothing is missing.
Stopping on the road
Think about safety. Moving around a
stationary bus on a busy road is highly
dangerous. Avoid unnecessary risks.
If the bus must stop on a busy road due
to a technical error, put on a high-
visibility vest and turn the hazard lights
before exiting the bus.
Place the warning triangle behind the
bus, according to the national traffic
regulations.
Contact Volvo Action Service, they have
the equipment and knowledge to help
you.
