Instrument cluster

Instrument cluster
The instrument cluster contains lamps,
gauges and the driver information
display.
Lamps
In the instrument cluster above the
information driver display are a stop
lamp and a warning lamp that lights up
when there is something wrong with the
bus or when something occurs that the
driver must be made aware of. The other
lamps are called control lamps.
Stop lamp
The red stop lamp alerts the driver of
faults that can have serious
consequences for the bus, the driver
and/or passengers. When the stop lamp
is lit, a symbol and a possible text
message are shown in the driver
information display. A sound signal is
activated if the engine is running.
28
WARNING
When the stop lamp is lit, the bus must be
stopped immediately and the engine
turned off. The cause of the fault must be
investigated.
The acoustic signal and the stop
message can be acknowledged with the
ESC button but it will be shown again
after 10 seconds. A stop message
remains until the fault has been rectified.
Warning lamp
The yellow warning lamp alerts the driver
of faults or events that must be attended
to. When the warning lamp is lit a symbol
and possibly a message are shown on
the driver information display.
NOTE
The bus must be driven to a workshop as
soon as possible when the warning lamp
comes on.
Acknowledge the message with the ESC
button. If the fault is still active, the
warning will be shown again the next
time the starter key is turned to the start
position.
The table shows the lamps in the
