This menu allows you to change the Input and apply changes to the currently selected FM or
Internet radio. The new presets are also created through this menu. For further information, please
refer to "How to create a preset" on page

HD Test Mode

This is the parameter to control the SPLIT L / SPLIT R option. If the received HD Radio signal
is broadcasted in hybrid mode, carrying both HD Radio and FM audio programs, the HD Test
Mode option gives the opportunity the received programs to be heard simultaneously from the
device. For example, if HD Test Mode is set to L=HD-L, R=FM-L the left audio channel of the
HD Radio program will be audible from the left audio output and the left audio channel of the FM
program from the right audio output.
If the received HD Radio signal is hybrid, but the option is disabled, HD Radio audio program
will be audible. To enable the mode, using the [UP] and [DOWN] buttons choose one of the
available options.
The HD Test Mode is perfect solution when:
• it should be verified whether the analog FM and HD Radio audio programs are time and
level aligned;
• it should be verified whether both programs are broadcasted;
• monitoring of both the analog FM and HD Radio audio programs via audio alarm should
be made.
