INTRODUCTION Thank you for purchasing this CLARKE Bicycle Lift. Before attempting to use this product, please read this manual thoroughly and follow the instructions carefully. In doing so you will ensure the safety of yourself and that of others around you, and you can look forward to your purchase giving you long and satisfactory service.

INVENTORY Unpack your bicycle lift and make sure that the following items are present. Should there be any damage caused during transit contact your Clarke dealer immediately. 1. Lift Assembly (front) 2. Lift Assembly (rear) 3. 2 x Hook/Pulley units 4.

INSTALLATION 1. Measure the distance between the bicycle handlebars and the back of the seat. 2. Locate a suitable ceiling joist and transfer the seat/handlebar measurement along the joist so that the lifting attachment points line up as Fig 1. 3.

6. Thread the rope through the pulleys as shown in Fig 4. Be sure to thread the rope down through both parts of the locking mechanism (finally emerging through the round hole) as shown in Fig 5a. 7. Use 2 wood-screws to mount the rope cleat to the wall as shown in Fig 5b.

LOWERING THE BICYCLE 1. Pull the rope towards the rear pulley in the direction shown as “unlock” to release the locking mechanism as shown in Fig 6, while maintaining tension on the rope. • The tension will keep the locking mechanism open and allow the bicycle to lower.
