3 Short description Short description The Kontron ETXexpress UGM Evaluation Board is a COM Express baseboard compatible to COM Express Type 2 modules in basic, compact and extended module size with additional universal graphics module UGM support. The baseboard size and mounting holes conforms to ATX standard size 12"x7.5".

6.18 Internal I/O and CPLD connectors (J7, J60, J239, J240) Current Kontron products are equipped with a CPLD (Complex Programmable Logic Device) for power up sequencing and other functionalities. The ETXexpress UGM Baseboard's CPLD can be accessed by connector J60. Connector J7, J240 (I/O Ports) and J239 (Debug) are reserved for future functions.
The ETXexpress UGM Baseboard includes a standard CR2032 3V RTC battery. To reset the modules RTC power off the module and short pin 1-2 of jumper 238. The reset of the RTC power will not cause a CMOS clear, because the BIOS setting of all Kontron boards are backed up in an onboard EEPROM.
