 These diagrams are copied from the B793. The mechanism is similar, but the
layout is different, because the stapler tray is at a less steep angle in the
D686/D687.

 At the start of the
set, the upper
retraction motor
starts. This motor
does two things.
 The stopper
moves down to
catch the paper.
 The upper clamp
roller contacts the
stack. It does not
rotate until
stacking is
finished.
