Dust Detection – Overview
 This function checks the ADF exposure glass for
dust that can cause black lines in copies.
 The dust check is done before the first original is
scanned.
 This is done only once at the beginning of a job.
The check is not done for originals added during
a long scanning job.
 If dust is detected, a message is displayed on the
operation panel, but the machine does not stop.
