Punch
 First, the punch drive motor turns the encoder wheel until it is
at the correct home position.
 The home position for 2-hole punching is different from the
home position for 3-hole punching.
 Then the punch drive motor punches the holes in the paper
and returns to the home position.

 The diagram shows the operation of 3-hole punching in the 2-hole/3-hole punch
unit.
 Punch waste falls into the hopper.
 The sensor detects when the hopper is full, and if the hopper is not in the
machine.
