1.0 Introduction

1.2 Function

The ATMOS A / C 161 / 261 Aspirator is an exceptionally
handy small suction device.
It is driven by an electromotive, maintenance-free swing
piston pump. During operation the pump generates a
vacuum within the hose system and the secretion canister
by means of which secretion and air can be sucked off
(using a sterile suction catheter).
The fluid is collected in the secretion canister.
ATMOS A 161 / 261 Aspirator
The final vacuum and thus the suction capacity can be
adjusted by means of the three step adjustment.
An overtemperature stop avoids overheating of the suction
device.
ATMOS C 161 / C 261 Aspirator
The final vacuum and thus the suction capacity can be
adjusted by means of the fine regulation and the vacuum
gauge.
An overtemperature stop avoids overheating of the suction
device.
ATMOS A / C 161 / 261 Aspirator / DDS
The reusable secretion canister is connected to the pump
housing via direct-docking, without any pedestrian hose
system. Now the user can/must only connect the suction
hose.
A DDS bacterial and viral filter located in the canister lid
prevents bacteria, viruses and liquids from entering the
device.
A mechanical overflow protection (float ball) is integrated in
the canister lid. This prevents an accidental absorption of
secretion into the pump head.
