8. Insert the power supply unit into the
socket. The light unit lights up pink and
the pump starts the initial watering.
The germination phase has begun and your
plants can grow.
Height modules
9. When the first leaves appear, remove
the light unit, place the first height
module module onto the connector unit
of the pump and then place the light
unit back on again. Pay attention to the
guide slot when doing so.
■ Add another height module when the
plants have almost reached the light
unit.
Refilling the nutrient solution
The pump will begin to make loud noises if
the nutrient solution level is low. Once the
nutrient solution is used up, this is indicated
by the light unit flashing.
MSGP6: The light unit lights up white and
then flashes blue 10 times.
MSGP3: The light unit lights up pink and
then flashes pink 10 times.
Note: It will continue to flash every
5 minutes until nutrient solution is topped
up.
■ Lift the watering unit to check the fill
level.
■ Mix the nutrient solution and add it at
the filling opening.
Important: Make sure to use the right
amount (see 2.)! If the nutrient solution is
visible at the bottom of the filling opening,
do not continue refilling the solution. The
maximum capacity has been reached. Do
not exceed the marking for the maximum
capacity when filling the nutrient solution
into the tray directly.
Harvesting
10. Harvesting can begin as soon as the
plants are big enough.
Note: Get further information from the
capsule packaging and the app.
■ After the harvest is completed, it is
essential to clean all parts thoroughly
and descale them if required.

Setting sleep mode
The device automatically enters
sleep mode after 16 hours of
activity and wakes up again after
8 hours. The sleep mode start time can
be set.
11. MSGP6: Hold your hand on the light
unit for 3 seconds until the light flashes
2 times.
MSGP3: Press the button on the
underside of the light unit for 3 seconds
until the light flashes 2 times.
The appliance starts the 8-hour sleep mode.
The start time for sleep mode is saved and
is retained until it is changed again.
Note: The sleep mode should begin in the
evening so as to allow the plants a chance
to recuperate in the dark. This also means
that the bright lighting will not disturb you
(e.g. if the appliance is in a bedroom).
Using holiday mode
In holiday mode, the plants grow
slower and use less of the nutrient
solution.
Note: Holiday mode only works with
installed height modules.
■ Check the nutrient solution level and fill
it to maximum capacity if necessary.
12. MSGP6: Hold your hand on the light unit
for 10 seconds until the light lights up
purple.
MSGP3: Press the button on the
underside of the light unit for 10 seconds
until the light lights up purple.
■ To end holiday mode, move your hand
over the light unit (MSGP6) or briefly
press the button on the underside of the
light unit (MSGP3).
