Turning the light on and off
■ To turn the light on or off temporarily,
move your hand over the light unit
(MSGP6) or briefly press the button on
the underside of the light unit (MSGP3).
Note: If turned off, the light automatically
turns back on again after the next sleep
mode.

Descaling
Tap water can cause deposits
to build up in the pump and on
plastic parts.
■ Mix a descaling solution. 1 teaspoon
(5 ml) of citric acid in 1 litre of warm
water (max. 55 °C).
■ Pour the descaling solution into the bowl
up to the maximum capacity.
■ Start the pump manually as follows.
13. MSGP6: Hold your hand on the light
unit for 15 seconds until the light lights
up blue.
MSGP3: Press the button on the
underside of the light unit for 15 seconds
until the light lights up green.
■ The pump will operate for approx.
2.5 minutes.
■ If necessary, leave the descaling
solution to work for several hours and
then restart the pump.
Cleaning
Clean all parts thoroughly after the harvest
or after descaling.
■ Remove the light unit and height
modules.
■ Turn the pump anti-clockwise. The
marking points to
■ Remove the pump, plant tray and
watering insert.
Notes:
– The water bowl, plant tray and watering
base can be cleaned in the dishwasher
at a maximum of 55 °C.
– Wipe the light unit, height modules and
pump with a damp cloth only and dry
them.

Assembling the watering unit
14. Place the plant tray onto the watering
tray. When doing so, make sure that
the filling opening is aligned with the
watering tray opening.
15. Insert the pump. The marking

16. Place the assembled watering unit onto
the tray.

Troubleshooting

If problems with the light unit occur, it can
be restarted.
■ Disconnect the appliance from
the power supply (MSGP6 for at
least 10 hours, MSGP3 for at least
10 minutes).
■ Re-connect the appliance.
■ Reset sleep mode if necessary.
