Replacement of the gas spring may only be performed
by the service support team from your dealer or a
skilled technical person.

2.0.1. ATTACHING THE BACKREST

The lever (1) for backrest adjustment must be in open position. Press the

locking pin spring and push the backrest arm through the protective cap (2)
and through the hole. Tighten the lever afterwards. The lever for backrest
adjustment should be pulled through the protective cap (3) as shown!
Note: The backrest arm must be pushed through completely so the pin
spring locks the backrest arm. Make sure it cannot be pulled out again.

2.0.2. HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT (VELA TANGO 100ES)

Can be operated from the underside of either the right or left
armrest. The armrest can easily be moved to the opposite side.
VELA Tango El is also available with height adjustment via hand
box (if caregivers are to be able to adjust the height).

Note: Height function should only be used continuously for
100ES
one minute, then a nine-minute break should follow.

2.0.3. ADJUSTMENT OF SEAT HEIGHT (VELA TANGO 100ES)

Is operated from the flip-up height control pad located ot the
underside of either the right or left armrest.
Note: VELA Tango 100ES is also available with height
adjustment via hand box (i.e. if caregivers must be able to
adjust the height).

2.0.4. ADJUSTMENT OF SEAT HEIGHT (VELA TANGO 100S)

Adjust the seat height by pulling up the front lever placed at
your right hand.
