Connecting interface cables

Connect cables to the interfaces on the router before powering on the router.

Connecting an E1 cable

Only RA10-E supports E1 cables.
An E1 cable provides an RJ-45 connector at one end and a pair of BNC connectors at the other end.
To connect an E1 cable:
Connect the RJ-45 connector of the E1 cable to the E1 port on the router.

Connect the Tx connector and the Rx connector of the E1 cable to the Rx connector and the Tx

connector on the peer device, respectively.
