Cleaning before use

Before using the hob for the first time, you
should clean it thoroughly. A cloth with hot wa-
ter and a spritz of a special cleaning product
which is available in specialist shops should
suffice.
Prior to heating up the appliance for the first
time you should treat the hob with a care
product which is also available in specialist
shops.
NOTICE
Risk of damage to property!
Improper use of the glass ceramic hob
can cause damages.
Do not use a steam or high-pressure
cleaner to clean the hob. Steam could
get through cracks into live electrical
components of the glass ceramic hob
and cause short circuiting.
Let the glass ceramic hob cool off
completely before cleaning it.
Do not use any harsh detergents,
scouring agents, abrasive powder or
steel sponges; they can damage the
surface.
