26 Installation Examples
Divided mowing area. The robotic mower cannot travel
independently from one mowing area to the other:

– Docking station: Location (1) next to the house (A)
– Restricted area: Installation of the perimeter wire (2)
around the free-standing tree and around the vegetable
patch (B) based on a linking section installed at right
angles to the perimeter of the mowing area.
– Wire clearances:
– Clearance from obstacles which can be travelled on,
such as patios and paths with a maximum height
difference between lawn area and obstacle of +/- 0.4 in.
(1 cm): 0 in. (0 cm)
– Clearance from high obstacles: 13 in. (33 cm)
– Clearance around the tree: 13 in. (33 cm)
– Secondary area: Installation of a secondary area (C) with
a linking section (3) on the patio routed in a cable duct.

– Programming: Define the size of the mowing area (without
secondary area), program one starting point (4) in the
confined area with a starting frequency 2 of 10 operations.
– Particulars: Bring the robotic mower to the secondary area
several times per week and activate the command "Start
mowing". Take the mowing performance into account. If
necessary, install two separate mowing areas with
2 docking stations.
