Sterilisation mit dem
STERIS SYSTEM1 ®
Das STERIS ® -Verfahren ist eine Sterilisationsme-
thode für in Flüssigkeit eintauchbare Operations-
und Diagnoseinstrumente/-geräte. Beim STERIS
SYSTEM1 ® wird ein flüssiger chemischer Stoff
(primär gepufferte Peressigsäure) eingesetzt, um
Mikroorganismen auf Oberflächen von chirurgi-
schen Instrumenten und Geräten schnell und bei
niedriger Temperatur abzutöten. Die STERIS
brauchsanweisung enthält eine Anleitung zum si-
cheren Umgang mit dem STERIS ® -Sterilisations-
mittel.
Warnung: Wenn die Geräte nicht sorgfäl-
tig gereinigt und so platziert werden, dass
alle Flächen mit dem Sterilisationsmittel in
Kontakt kommen, oder der Behälter über-
laden wird, kann dies zu einem ineffekti-
ven Sterilisationsprozess oder zu Beschä-
digungen der Geräte führen.
Warnung: Nur STERIS ® -Behälter verwen-
den, um eine ordnungsgemäße Sterilisati-
on der Geräte zu gewährleisten. Das
STERIS ® -System nicht für Geräte verwen-
den, die nicht in Flüssigkeit eingetaucht
werden dürfen.
Warnung: Nach Beendigung eines
Zyklus immer überprüfen, dass der Steri-
lisationsbehälter leer ist. Wenn der Sterili-
sationsbehälter nicht leer ist, gilt die
Ladung nicht als steril.
Warnung: Bei Abbruch eines Sterilisati-
onszyklus sind die Geräte nicht ordnungs-
gemäß sterilisiert und/oder gespült.
1. Darauf achten, dass alle Instrumente/Geräte
nach den im Aufbereitungsabschnitt dieser
Gebrauchsanweisung empfohlenen Metho-
den vollständig gereinigt wurden.
2. Die Schutzkappe vom Kamerakopf-Karten-
stecker abnehmen.
3. Vor der Bearbeitung in der STERIS ® -Anlage
eine Sichtprüfung der Instrumente/Geräte
durchführen und diese auf ordnungsgemäße
Funktion überprüfen.

Sterilization with
STERIS SYSTEM1 ® processor
The STERIS ® process is a sterile processing
method for immersible surgical and diagnostic
devices. The STERIS SYSTEM1 ®
chemical process (primarily buffered peracetic
acid) for the rapid, low temperature destruction
of microorganisms on the surfaces of surgical
instruments and devices. Please consult the
® -Ge- STERIS ® operator's manual for safe handling
instructions for the STERIS ® sterilant.
Warning: Failure to thoroughly clean and
properly position devices so that all sur-
faces will be exposed to the sterilant or
overloading of the processing container
may result in an ineffective sterile
process and/or damage to the devices.
Warning: Use only STERIS
containers to ensure proper sterilization
of the devices. Do not use the STERIS
system for devices that cannot be
immersed in liquid.
Warning: Always verify that the sterilant
container is empty after the cycle is com-
plete. If the sterilant container is not emp-
ty, then the load cannot be considered
sterile.
Warning: Devices are not sterilized
and/or adequately rinsed when a sterile
processing cycle is cancelled.
1. Make sure that all instruments/devices have
been completely cleaned in accordance with
the methods recommended in the preparation
section of this instruction manual.
2. Remove protective cap from camera head
card edge connector.
3. Visually inspect and test the devices to
ensure that they are working properly before
processing in the STERIS ® processor.

El procedimiento STERIS

para eliminar microorganismos sobre la superficie

mente y a baja temperatura. El Manual STERIS
contiene una instrucción para el uso seguro de
los productos de esterilización STERIS
Cuidado: Si no se limpian cuidadosamen-
te los aparatos y no se ubican de modo
tal que todas las superficies entren en
contacto con el producto esterilizador, o si
se sobrecarga el recipiente, se puede pro-
vocar un proceso inefectivo de esteriliza-
ción o el deterioro de los aparatos.

tamente esterilizados y/o enjuagados.
1. Preste atención a que todos los instrumen-
tos/aparatos estén completamente limpios
según los métodos recomendados en la sec-
ción Preparación de este Manual.
2. Retire la caperuza de protección de la cone-
xión de borde de tarjeta del cabezal de
cámara.
3. Antes del procesamiento en la instalación
STERIS ® lleve a cabo una inspección visual
de los instrumentos/aparatos y compruebe su
correcto funcionamiento.
