Reinigung, Desinfektion und
Sterilisation
Vorsicht: Nur Polypropylen-Sterilisations-
hüllen und Polyethylen-Beutel verwen-
den. Keine Papierbeutel oder Sterilisati-
onshüllen mit Zellstoff- oder Baumwollan-
teil verwenden.
Vorsicht: Der Anwender muss Abweichun-
gen von den Sterilisationsparametern des
STERRAD 100S Systems validieren.
1. Die Kamerakopf-Einheit reinigen und vorberei-
ten, wie im Aufbereitungsabschnitt dieser
Gebrauchsanweisung beschrieben. Sie muss
völlig trocken sein.
2. Die Kamerakopf-Einheit so in den STERRAD-
Sterilisator legen, dass das Wasserstoffplas-
ma sie umfließen kann.
Die Kamerakopf-Einheit darf nicht die Wand
des Sterilisators berühren.
3. Die Taste START drücken. Die Tür schließt
sich automatisch, und der voreingestellte
automatische Zyklus startet.
Der Zyklus dauert ca. 75 Minuten.
4. Nach Abschluss des Zyklus die Taste OPEN
DOOR [TÜR ÖFFNEN] drücken und die
Kamerakopf-Einheit entnehmen. Sie ist sofort
einsatzbereit.
5. Detaillierte Anweisungen entnehmen Sie bitte
der Gebrauchsanweisung des Sterilisations-
systems STERRAD 100S. Die aktuellsten Infor-
mationen zur Sterilisation mit dem System
STERRAD100S sind bei Advanced Sterilizati-
on Products (ASP) erhältlich.
Maintenance
Cleaning, disinfection and
sterilization
Caution: Use only polypropylene sterili-
zation wrap and polyolefin pouches.
Do not use paper pouches or sterilization
wraps containing wood pulp or cotton.
Caution: Any deviations from the recom-
mended STERRAD 100S system steriliza-
tion parameters must be validated by the
user.
1. Clean and prepare the camera head unit as
described in the preparation section of this
instruction manual. Be sure that the camera
head assembly is completely dry.
2. Load the camera head assembly into the
STERRAD sterilizer, arranging it so that the
hydrogen plasma can surround it.
Do not allow the camera head assembly to
touch the wall of the sterilizer.
3. Press the START button. The door will auto-
matically close and the preset automatic cycle
will begin. The complete cycle runs in approx-
imately 75 minutes.
4. On completion of the cycle press the OPEN
DOOR button and remove the camera head
assembly. The camera head assembly is
ready for use immediately.
5. Please consult the STERRAD 100S Steriliza-
tion System operator's manual for detailed
instructions for use. Please contact Advanced
Sterilization Products (ASP) for the most up to
date information regarding sterilization with
the STERRAD100S Sterilization System.

Limpieza, desinfección y
esterilización
Advertencia: Use solamente envolturas
de esterilización de polipropileno y bol-
sas de polietileno. No utilice bolsas de
papel o envolturas de esterilización que
contengan celulosa o algodón.
Advertencia: Cada desviación de los
parámetros recomendados para el siste-
ma de esterilización STERRAD 100S
debe ser validada por el usuario.
1. Limpie y prepare la unidad del cabezal de
cámara como se describe en la sección Pre-
paración de este Manual de instrucciones. La
misma debe estar completamente seca.
2. Coloque la unidad del cabezal de cámara
dentro del esterilizador STERRAD de manera
que lo rodee el plasma de peróxido de hidró-
geno. No permita que la unidad del cabezal
de cámara toque la pared del esterilizador.
3. Presione la tecla START. La puerta se cierra
automáticamente y se inicia el ciclo automáti-
co preajustado, que dura aprox. 75 minutos.
4. Una vez terminado el ciclo, presione la tecla
OPEN DOOR [ABRIR PUERTA] y retire la uni-
dad del cabezal de cámara. La misma puede
utilizarse nuevamente de inmediato.
5. En el Manual de instrucciones del sistema
esterilizador STERRAD 100S encontrará ins-
trucciones detalladas al respecto. La informa-
ción actual sobre esterilización con el sistema
STERRAD100S la puede Ud. recabar de
Advanced Sterilization Products (ASP).
