Installation
Select the appropriate cable and connect one end to the ethernet connector on the rear
panel of the MicroStar.
9. Connect the other end of the ethernet cable to the destination device.
10. Install a power cord into the power inlet on the rear panel of the MicroStar; then connect
the cord to a power source.
11. Turn on the power switch on the rear panel of the MicroStar (you should hear the
forepump and the turbo pump begin operating).
12. Allow the system to evacuate overnight to achieve best vacuum before performing
routine mass spectrometry. The software allows you to observe the vacuum.
