SMART DIAGNOSIS Function
You can diagnos the washer's abnormal operation or failure by yourself using a smart phone.
You can also call a service center using a regular phone for a fast and convenient diagnosis.
Having a diagnosis by calling a service center

Press the POWER
button.
Close the door of the washer and press the
POWER button.
Caution!
If you have pressed another button or selected
a course before pressing the WATER TEM-
PERATURE button, POWER OFF and start the
diagnosis from the beginning.

Hold the phone near the
mark while the data is being
transmitted.
Hold the phone near the mark of the SMART
DIAGNOSIS while the data is being transmitted.
It will display the remaining time until the comple-
tion of the transmission on the screen.
Caution!
The transmission sound may be unpleasant.
Hold the phone up to the mark until the sound is
off for a successful diagnosis. You may stop the
diagnosis and sound by pressing the POWER
button.

Bring a phone to the mark of
SMART DIAGNOSIS on the
washer control panel.
Put the microphone of the phone close to the
mark of the SMART DIAGNOSIS.

Listen to the diagnosis result
from the service technician after
the completion of transmission.
Once the data transmission is completed, it will
display the completion, and POWER off after
several seconds.
Listen to the diagnosis result from the service
technician, and follow the action.

Press the WATER
TEMPERATURE
button of the washer
for a while to start
the SMART DIAGNOSIS.
Press the WATER TEMP button for a while until
you hear a sound after holding a smart phone up
close to the SMART DIAGNOSIS mark on the
panel.
Please note!
Telephone line quality may affect the diag-
nosis output.
House phone may give a better output for
line quality.
