DOWNLOAD CYCLE
You may use the DOWNLOAD function of the TAG ON course if you install the LG Smart Washing Machine application on a smart phone which has
an NFC function on the Android OS. If the course is not downloaded, the DOWNLOAD cycle is only available during a COLD WASH.

Press the
POWER
button.
 Load the laundry and close the
door.
 Add detergent and fabric softener
according to the course.
 Refer to page 10 for the amount
of detergent.
 You may download one of the four courses using the TAG ON function. (SMART SAVING ENERGY, INTENSIVE RINSE, COLD WASH and
SPIN ONLY) Please refer to the LG Smart Washing Machine application for a detailed explanation.
 Refer to the page 39~40 for the user's guide for how to COURSE DOWNLOAD .
Please note!
 The download cycle may be different depending on the updated version of the application.
COLD WASH course
Use this course to wash lightly soiled clothes to save energy.
If no course is downloaded, the download course runs the COLD WASH course automatically.

Press the POWER
button.
 Load the laundry and close the door.
 Add detergent and fabric softener and then close
the dispenser drawer.
 Refer to page 10 for the amount of detergent.
 To change the setting during the washing operation press the START/PAUSE button to pause, and change the setting by pressing each button.
 Food stains and stubborn dirt cannot be cleaned after a normal wash. Thus, it is more effective to wash them separately with the STUBBRON

Confirm the course that is currently
downloaded using the LG Smart
Washing Machine application.
 If downloaded on several smart phones,
the download course on the smart phone
and actual downloaded course to the
washing machine may be different.
 If you select [ ] button on the download
course of the application, you can check
the course downloaded to the washing
machine.

Dial the Course Selector Knob
to the DOWNLOAD cycle
(COLD WASH course).
 This course is automatically set for the water
temperature 'COLD', spin speed 'HIGH', and
washing function 'NORMAL'.
 For the water temperature only, cold water can
be selected.

Dial the Course
Selector Knob to the
DOWNLOAD Cycle.
 The selectable setting may be differ-
ent depending on the downloaded
course.
 If the course is not downloaded, the
basic course of the DOWNLOAD
Cycle is COLD WASH. Refer to the
COLD WASH course below on the
corresponding page.
