Important:
• If an array of several devices is installed, a valve assembly must be fitted to each tank and
a non-return flap on the overall supply pipe.
• If the pressure of the distribution network exceeds 5 bar, a pressure reducer must be fitted
to the overall supply pipe.
• If metal piping is used, use a cast-iron sleeve or a dielectric pipe joint (brass connectors
are prohibited).

4.3. Hydraulic safety installation
4.3.1. Safety units:
Safety units are always installed on the cold water inlet to the tank. When installing the unit,
respect the flow direction indicated by arrows on the body of the security unit.
4.3.2. Safety valves:
The safety valves are fitted to the tank inlet using a T (see diagram below).
1 single G 1¨ unit
No non-return valve or flap should ever be fitted between the safety valve or safety unit
and the tank.
A non-return flap preceded by a valve must be fitted to the cold water inlet if the tank is
equipped with a safety valve. To avoid scaling of these components, operate the safety unit
at least once a month by moving its controls to various positions.
