Concealed cable guide and toothed belt in the C-arm

Insert the tube-side cable (including toothed belt) in the C-arm's concealed cable guide
in the direction of the POWERPHOS. Make sure that the cable is not twisted.
Draw the cable end with plugs into the POWERPHOS C-arm segment.
Attach the clamping block (Fig. 15) to the C-arm using the screws (1/Fig. 15).
Loosen the two mounting screws (2/Fig. 16) of the clamping plate from the cable on the
image intensifier side. The toothed belt is released.
Insert the cable in the C-arm's concealed cable guide, and draw the cable end with plugs
into the C-arm at the front.
Insert the clamping piece (3/Fig. 16) in the C-arm.
Fasten the toothed belt with the clamping plate and the screws (2/Fig. 16).
The belt's teeth are positioned in the slots of the clamping piece.
Release the cable module block. For this purpose, change the screw (1/Fig. 1) from posi-
tion (1/Fig. 1) to position (2/Fig. 1) and tighten it.
NOTE
Increase the toothed belt tension using the tensioning screws (1/Fig. 16). From the orbit-
al center position move the C-arm + 45° several times to eliminate any play of the
toothed belt. If necessary, increase the tension of the toothed belt in the slots of the
clamping piece, and reattach it.
POWERMOBIL
If high tension prevents you from inserting the toothed belt up to
the last slots of the clamping piece, position the toothed belt one
or more slots closer and attach it there. Move the C-arm approx.
+ 45° out from the orbital center position, but do not move it to the
end position of the image intensifier. Then loosen the toothed belt
again, increase its tension manually as much as possible, and
reattach it.
