Rotary Function Switch (6)

To select the required measurement function, turn the rotary
switch so it points to the symbol corresponding to the required
function.
 Always use the proper function and range for your measure-
ments.
 Before moving the rotary switch to change functions, always
disconnect the test leads from the circuit under test and re-
move the clamp jaws from the clamped conductor.

COM Input (4)

Connect the black measuring cable to the COM input (4) for all
measurements except for current measurements.
V/Ω/ / Input (5)
Connect the red measuring cable to this input (5) when measur-
ing AC or DC voltage up to 600 V (CAT III), for diode tests, for
continuity tests (buzzer) and for measuring resistance. Turn the
rotary function switch (6) to the desired position.
