Rotary Function Switch (3)

To select the required measurement function, turn the rotary
switch so it points to the symbol corresponding to the required
function.
Always use the proper function and range for your measure-
ments.
Before moving the rotary switch to change functions, always
disconnect the test leads from the circuit under test and re-
move the clamp jaws from the clamped conductor.

COM-Input (6)

Connect the black measuring cable to the COM input (6).
V/Ω -Input (5)
Connect the red measuring cable to this input (5) when measur-
ing AC or DC voltage up to 600 V (CAT II), for diode tests, for
continuity tests (buzzer) and for measuring resistance. Turn the
rotary switch (3) to the desired position.
