3. Connect the measuring cables to the resistor you intend to
test. Read the result from the display.
Notes:
 For measurements ≥ 1MΩ it can take several seconds before
a stable value is reached.
 If the terminals are in open circuit state, the overrange
indicator "OL" will be shown on the display.
 Keep the measuring tips clean to ensure a good connection.

Diode Test Function

With this function you can test diodes and other semiconductors
for continuity and blocking function.
Attention!
 Never connect the measuring tips to a power source while
using this function; this can lead to the destruction of the unit.
 Only take measurements on a circuitry which is disconnected
from all power sources and additionally make sure all capaci-
tors are discharged.
