Compliance with CDRH Regulations
The Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH) of the U.S. Food and Drug
Administration implemented regulations for laser products on August 2, 1976. These
regulations apply to laser products manufactured from August 1,1976. Compliance is
mandatory for products marketed in the United States.
Compliance with International Regulations
All Compaq systems equipped with laser devices comply with appropriate safety
standards including IEC 825.
Label
The transceiver on the adapter is a Class I laser product. It complies with IEC 825-1
and FDA 21 CFR 1040.10 and 1040.11. The transceiver must be operated under
recommended operating conditions.
