cPCI Adapter Features
The cPCI adapter is a dual channel high-performance Host Bus Adapter (HBA)
designed for high-end systems. This Fibre Channel (FC) adapter operates over a
compact peripheral component interconnect (cPCI).
This adapter has the following features:

Combines a powerful RISC processor and a fiber protocol module (FPM) with
gigabit transceivers in a single-chip solution
•
Supports Private Loop Disk Attach (PLDA) and Fabric Loop Attach (FLA)
connections
•
Supports Sun Solaris Version 8
•
Supports bus master DMA
•
Supports Fibre Channel Protocol SCSI (FCP-SCSI) protocol
•
Supports point-to-point fabric connection (F-PORT FABRIC LOGIN)
•
Complies with the following PCI standards:
