Discontinuing Backups Backups cannot run during this procedure since
the library must be powered down. Use your backup software to stop any
backups running to the library. Restart any backup processes after you
complete the replacement procedure and run diagnostics to ensure that the
library is operational.
Powering Off the Library Follow these steps to power off the library.
1. Power off the library from the front panel.
