System Wide Data

You may want to change System Wide Data if the Default data does not meet your requirements.
For example, if the telephone line is specified as DTMF when Default data is loaded and you are
using a decadic line, the data must be changed. Speed calls apply on a SYSTEM wide basis, but
access can be restricted.
This method of programming speed calls is used while in programming mode.

Enters the information into memory
Assuming that by using Method 1 700 has been assigned the number 441291430000, the number
can be addressed in the following manner:
User goes off-hook
User dials *00.
The Controller will then dial out 441291430000 (technical support number).
This method of programming speed calls is used after an installation is complete. All calls will
be screened because DK (as outlined previously) is automatically set to 08. The following ex-
ample assumes the user speed call programming code is ###.

Do not disconnect the power from the Controller, until at least 10 seconds have expired after
exiting programming mode. During this period, any programming in the Controller is being stored
into the Controller's memory. Disconnecting the power prematurely will result in a loss of pro-
gramming, and a checksum error (See page 11).
