Fax Management
The VPS can be programmed to detect fax signals received on incoming calls and direct those calls
to an extension (fax machine) designated to handle faxes (Automatic Fax Transfer feature). A
maximum of 2 fax extensions can be programmed as the destination for faxes. If the main fax
extension is not available to receive a fax, the VPS will forward the fax transmission to the alternate
fax extension. Additionally, the fax manager can receive notification when new faxes have been
received.
Automatic Transfer of Incoming Fax Call
Enables or disables the Automatic Fax Transfer feature.
Note
Automatic fax detection functions for 30 s after a call is received.
