Answering
This section describes how to change the answering behaviors on your handset.
Answering Key
The default setting for the handset is to use the Call key
In the Settings menu, select Answering → Answering key.

Select Call key or Any key.
If Any key is selected, any key except the End call key
Mute/PTT button can be used to answer the call.
Answering Behavior
1.
In the Settings menu, select Answering → Answering behavior.

Select one or several of the following options:
− Automatically if you want the call to be answered automatically.
− Loudspeaking if you want the call to be answered in loudspeaking mode.
− Quick answer if you want the call to be answered automatically when the handset is removed
from the charger.

Press Change to change the setting. The check box is marked. To remove the selection, press Change
again.

Change Text Size for Messages
Applicable to 5634 Services and 5634 Alarm only.
In the Settings menu, select Messages → Text size.

Select Normal or Large.

Change the Menu Language
In the Settings menu, select Language.

Select a language from the list.
The language setting is marked with the asterisk symbol * so that it can be easily distinguished from
other settings.

An Owner ID can be set to identify the handset.
In the Settings menu, select Owner ID.
