Power Steering Reservoir Fluid
Level
Whenever you check the engine oil, also check the
steering reservoir fluid level. The fluid level must be
above the "ADD" line and below the "FULL HOT" line
or "FULL COLD" line, depending on its temperature
when checked. If needed, add Volvo Penta Power
Trim/Tilt and Steering Fluid. Do not overfill the pump
reservoir.
NOTICE! Never fill the steering system with oil of
unknown quality. Non-recommended oil may cause
steering operation impairment or component damage.
Do not allow contaminants to enter the reservoir when
checking or filling the oil level.
