oil mixture of petrol 95 RON and 2-stroke oil, must always
being used. It is very important to pay attention with the
fuel mixture that you use, since accurate mixture of oil
and fuel must be obtained. Small quantities of oil and
fuel mixture with small inaccuracies, can affect the ratio
of mixture, which may lead to engine overheat and se-
rious damages in the engine. Mixturewith fuel of higher
Octane is only recommended to be used, when working
continuously at high revs.
Two stroke oil
Especially formulated 2-stroke oil for air cooled 2-stroke
engines must be used. Do not use 2-stroke oil intended
for water cooled engines use. Never use poor quality of
oil and 4-stroke engine oil.
Mixing ratio
For best results and performance, the mixing ratio is
2,5% with oil class JASO FB or ISO EGB, formulated for air
cooled 2-stroke engines.

Always use clean container for fuel before mixing the
fuel. Mix and shake the fuel mixture thoroughly, before
filling the machine's fuel tank. Do not use fuel mixture
stored for more than a month. The fuel tank of the ma-
chine must be emptied before storage.
2.3 REFUELLING
WARNING: Never smoke whilst refuelling and avoid
inhaling the petrol fumes.
Carefully open the tank top as pressure could have
formed inside.
Before refuelling:
Place the machine on a fat stable surface, with the fuel
tank cap facing upwards.
Clean the fuel tank cap and the surrounding area to
avoid any dirt from entering the tank du ring refilling.
Carefully open the fuel tank cap to allow the pressure
inside to decrease gradually.
To fuel:
Shake the tank with the fuel mixture well.
Using a funnel, pour an amount of fuel mixture suited
to the work to be performed in the supplied graduated
bottle.
Do not overfill. Leave a minimum 5 mm of space be-
tween the top of the fuel-oil mixture and the inside
edge of the tank to allow for expansion (Fig. 8).
WARNING: Always close the fuel tank cap firmly.
3. USING THE MACHINE
3.1 STARTING THE MACHINE
Before starting the engine, place the machine on stable
ground and make sure blowing are not crushed.

3.1.1 Cold starting
A "cold" start of the engine means starting it after at least
10 minutes from when it was switched off or after refu-
elling.
1. Set the engine switch lever at the intermediate posi-
tion "I" (Fig. 11).
2. Turn the choke knob clockwise to «CHOKE» position
(Fig. 12).
3. Press the primer bulb 7 to 10 times to prime the car-
burettor (Fig. 13).
4. Hold the machine firmly with left hand on the hand
grip, in order not to lose control of the ma chine during
starting (Fig. 14).
5. Pull the starter handle slowly for 10 - 15 cm until you
feel some resistance, then tug it hard a few times until
you hear the first firing occur (Fig. 14).
6. Turn the choke knob counter-clockwise to «RUN» po-
sition (Fig. 12).
7. Pull the starter handle again until the engine starts (Fig. 14).
8. When the engine has started, allow the engine run at
idle for 10 seconds.
9. Rev the engine a little using the throttle trigger
Fig. 11 to warm it up before using the machine.
IMPORTANT If the starter rope is pulled repeatedly with
the choke on, it may flood the engine and make starting
difficult. If you happen to flood the engine, follow below
procedure: Set the ignition switch to the STOP position
O. Turn the choke to the RUN position. Remove the spark
plug and dry it. Pull the recoil starter handle slowly for
several times to drain the fuel from the combustion
chamber. Wait until fuel vapours and refit the spark plug.
3.1.2 Hot starting
To hot start the engine immediately after it has stopped,
follow steps 1 - 3 - 4 - 6- 7 of the above procedure, making
sure the choke knob is set on the RUN position.
3.2 ADJUSTING THE SPEED
Rotor rpm must be proportionate to the type of work
and regulated by the throttle trigger (9) located on the
upper handgrip. The throttle trigger can be held in any
required position engaging the throttle setting device.
3.3 STOPPING THE ENGINE
To stop the engine:
Turn the throttle setting device counterclockwise to
the intermediate position (Fig. 9).
Release the throttle trigger, allow the engine run at
idle for 10 seconds.
Turn the throttle setting device counterclockwise to
the end (Fig. 9).
4. OPERATING THE BLOWER
The machine is carried as a backpack. Hold and control
the blower tube with your right hand on the control
handle. Engine speed should be adjusted to the type of
material to be removed, it is seldom necessary to use full
throttle, and many work procedures can be done at half
throttle:
If necessary, dampen the surface to be cleaned in order
to avoid creating too much dust.
