Unfold the ADF Document Output

CAUTION
DO NOT leave thick documents on the
scanner glass. If you do this, the ADF may
jam.

Using the scanner glass

You can use the scanner glass to fax, copy,
or scan pages of a book, one page at a time.
Document Sizes Supported
Length: Up to 297 mm (11.7 in.)
Width: Up to 215.9 mm (8.5 in.)
Weight: Up to 2 kg (4.4 lb)
How to load documents
Note
To use the scanner glass, the ADF must
be empty.

Lift the document cover.

Using the document guidelines on the
left, center the document face down on
the scanner glass.

Close the document cover.

If you are scanning a book or thick
document, DO NOT slam the cover or
press on it.
