Quick setup

You can open the quick setup Web page by selecting the quick setup icon from either the
home page or the navigation sidebar to do the quick commissioning of the converter. The
quick setup icon may vary depending on the connected converters. For more information,
see Section "Overview of the Web pages (Page 23)".
Note
The quick setup function is not supported on SINAMICS G120 converter with CU250S-2
Control Unit due to the internal encoder in the Control Unit.
5.4.1

Classic quick setup (not for G120 CU250S-2/G115D)

The classic quick setup is applicable to all the supported converters excluding the
SINAMICS G115D and the G120 CU250S-2.
Siemens does not recommend this commissioning menu choice for the
SINAMICS G120X/G120XA converters; instead, use the G120X/G120XA specific setup menu
to complete more desired configurations according to your particular application.
The classic quick setup Web page allows you to set the following data for the connected
converter:
• Application class
• Motor data
• I/O configuration
• Important parameters
• Technological application
• Motor identification
